Leaving for Thailand tomorrow.   Looking at all your "resort wear" makes me feel horribly inadequate...especially for an ex- swimwear/coverup buyer.   I am going to try to get over it and move on.   Your pics are great! Do more posts!

Hey Susie! I really enjoyed reading your stories, I laughed out loud a few times. Your pictures are great, let us know if you ever travel to the exotic port of Texas.

Suzie,

Kurstin sent me this link so I could see what you are up to.   I am so jealous.   You are quite the traveller.   Good to see you, even if it is only in photos.

Susie,
Your cousins in NJ are just a LITTLE jealous of your travels! The girls will really enjoy navigating your site, and I'm having a vicarious joy ride. By the way, your observations bring the photos to life -- really vivid. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and putting together these pages. (I'm still sticking 4x6 photos into albums.)
Lots of love, Pat -- and Mitch, Meg, Alex and Cate

Hey Susie,

Long time no talkie, as I read your stories & view your pictures, I find a lot of similarities between the city of Hong Kong & Fargo.   Whatever.   I am glad to read that you are having such a fun & amazing time.   Wish I could have visited!   Megan(currently know as Bridezilla)

Hi Suz,
Just read your last installment "The Land of Cheap and Check".   So, I'm wondering if your furniture has arrived.   Pictures please.   It was fun to see you on my last visit.   To bad we didn't get the chance to hang out more.   Miss you.   Stay healthy and hope to see you when you get back in Town.
cheers,
Beta

Am originally from Asia and now working in Beantown, but will be relocating to HK in July.   Great stories and visuals...now I'm kinda sorta excited to head over...just not too keen on living in cubbyholes that cost an arm and a leg :-)

Susie,

Nice job on the website, I thought of you while I was on my 2 hour layover in the Hong Kong airport. I love your stories and the antics and tribulations you bring to making your dreams reality. Tyler, Motthida, Annie and I miss tipping a pint with you. I still need to get the gang out on the patio for some thirsty thursday. My plant is now almost all around your old cube, I suspect I will see you in your neck of the woods one of these days.......namaste, mark

Susie, you are amazing.   I am truly living vicariously through your stories.   Incredible!

May 24 2006 05:18 pm
Woo hoo, it's comforting to know others feel the same way. I can't believe you found the plastic hooks to hang pictures. I still have my frames prop up on the floor. Sadly, my gaydar doesnt work that well and I'm from the city. But I was wondering if the architect guys were "together" or not, any answers?
Continue on with your post and thanks for the shout-out!

Hey babe!
Sounds like you've been having one hell of a time there so far! Wouldn't expect anything less from you. Glad you are settling in and meeting new people...and simple taking in a completely new world. Part of me is jealous that you just picked up and moved...the other part of me is glad that I have the comforts of home around me. Know that myself, and all of your family and friends are thinking about you and hoping that you have the time of your life! Love your website! My co-workers kept looking at me funny as I busted out in laughter. You know, you have the beginnings of a great book...just a thought.
Take care of yourself! Keep in touch.   Big hugs from the US...Korenza
