This hotel and property were gorgeous. Individual bungalows, an amazing beach, a great spa, a beautiful pool.
I want to live here permanently. Okay, so it may get a bit boring after a few weeks. But it was just about perfect for a relaxing vacation.

Maya Beach is the actual film location of The Beach - that movie that exploited post-Titanic "Leo-Mania", had a wicked soundtrack, but completely failed at being classified as a good movie. (was that harsh?)

So typically I'm a whiskey-ginger, beer or wine girl.
But when I'm on vacation, I become the cheesiest cliche of a tourist. Pina Colada here, Mai Tai there...... I think these pictures say it all.
